A virtual journey created using NASA scientific data, Field Trip to the Moon brings school groups and other young audiences face-to-face with the challenges and excitement of what would be a very unusual class trip. Field Trip launches from Earth’s surface, orbits the Earth, lands on the lunar surface, and witnesses an astronaut sunrise, ultimately discovering what makes our own planet unique and habitable.
Field Trip to the Moon was developed by the American Museum of Natural History in collaboration with the National Aeronautic and Space Administration (NASA).
